FAO training seminar was held in Nursultan

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Head of the FAO Relations and Partnership Bureau in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kairat Nazhmidenov.
On August 7, 2019, in Nur-Sultan city, the scientists of the A. Barayev Scientific-production center for grain farming took part in the training seminar on technologies and approaches in the field of sustainable land management, documentation and the WOCAT database.
The training seminar was held as part of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Regional Project and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) “Integrated Management of Natural Resources in Drought-prone and Saline Agricultural Production Landscapes of Central Asia and Turkey”.

The head of the adaptive and agrolandscape technology group, Kanat Akshalov and the head of the crop rotation group, Aldabergen Kiyas represented the SPCGF named after A.Barayev at national training.
