In the fields of the SPCGF, scientists began sowing sunflower and oil flax, which are characterized by high biological and production qualities, particulary, high drought resistance, a short growing season, manufacturability of production, high productivity andprofitability. Therefore, the scientists of the Center strictly adhere to the sowing dates and seeding rates, which affect the productivity of these popular crops in the conditions of the northern regions.
KATU students obtain mportant experiencein the laboratory for breeding grain legumes and oilseeds acquire under the guidance of scientific workers.
