On June 22, scientists of the A.I. Barayev SPCGF visited seminar-meeting on the phased introduction of precision farming in the Arshalynskiy district, Akmola region. The event, chaired by the deputy akim of the Arshalynskiy region Baltashev Asset Kanatovich, and was attended by the head of the agriculture department of the Arshalynskiy region Musinov Rakhat Mukhambetovich and 15 heads and specialists of agricultural enterprises and peasant farms.
At the seminar, Alexander Lisenovich, Researcher of the Precision Farming Laboratory on the topic "Precision farming in the production of crop products and agricultural enterprise management tools", Kiyas Aldabergen, Head of the laboratory of crop rotations on the topic "The role of predecessors in various crop rotations in the precision farming system" employee of the laboratory of agrochemistry and fertilizers on the topic "Application of mineral fertilizers based on the results of agrochemical survey, differentiated fertilization in the system of precision farming", Nelis Tatiana, researcher of the laboratory of plant protection on the topic "Protection of grain crops in the system of precision farming". Scientists and representatives of agribusiness exchanged views on the efficiency and return on investment in agricultural machinery and software and reference systems, their maintenance in the introduction of precision farming in small and medium-sized farms, the instability of mobile devices in the region.
During the seminar, the participants discussed issues of mineral nutrition of plants, norms, methods of fertilization, plant protection in the current year and other technological issues of crop production. They also discussed the issues of interaction between science and agribusiness, education and training of specialists of the agro-industrial complex in the practice of precision farming on the basis of the precision farming landfill of the A.I.Barayev SPCGF.
