Students of Kaz ATU named after S.Seifullin will receive practical skills during spring field work at the SPCGF named after A.I. Barayev

From May 11, 2022, the work experience internship for students of KATU named after S. Seifullin in the specialty of agronomy begins at the SPCGF named after A.I. Barayev. 33 3rd-year students were assigned to the scientific laboratories of the Department of Agriculture and Crop Breeding, where, together with the leading scientists of the Center, they will acquire practical skills and competencies in carrying out spring field work on sowing crops. Also, 8 3rd-year students in the laboratory of agrochemistry and in the analytical department will undergo work experience internship in mastering professional knowledge in the field of agrochemistry and soil science. Here students will gain skills in the selection of soil samples for agrochemical analyses, will take part in the application of mineral fertilizers, will conduct agrochemical analyses. In the laboratory of plant protection and immunity, 8 students were distributed in the specialty plant protection and quarantine. Laboratory researchers will help students master various aspects of phytopathology and entomology, phytosanitary monitoring, biological protection of plants from pests, diseases and weeds, the use of technologies and machines in plant protection and much more.
