President emphasized the importance of digitalization in the agro-industrial complex upon arrival in the Akmola region; the Head of State inspected the fields of grain and oilseeds, and also got acquainted with the preparations for the harvest campaign.

During the visit, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the main results of social and economic development and prospects of the agricultural sector of the Akmola region.

- In the region, an electronic map of the fields is implemented on an experimental basis, satellite monitoring of the state of crops is conducted, spot seeding of seeds and differentiated application of fertilizers are carried out. This makes it possible to increase the labor productivity by 2 times, and the yield by more than 5 quintals per hectare, while reducing costs by 20%, the President of Kazakhstan noted.
