Today, during a planned visit to the State Institution "RSMC" Agrokhimsluzhba", Minister of Agriculture Karashukeyev Erbol Shyrakpaevich got acquainted with the state of affairs in the A.I. BarayevSPCGF (Center for Grain Farming), the Chairman of the Board of SPCGF Nurlan Amangeldinovich Serekpayev acquainted him with the main areas of activity and scientific and practical results of the Center for the introduction of precision farming in the northern regions of the republic. In particular, retrospective wheat varieties (created in the early years of the institute's development), new promising varieties of soft and durum wheat, naked forms of barley and oats, millet, buckwheat, Sudanese grass, sunflower, flax, peas, lentils and perennials were presented at the demonstration exhibition.
The breeders of the Center demonstrated scientific achievements in the field of breeding of original and elite seeds for all approved, recommended for use varieties of cereals, oilseeds, cereals and perennial grasses of the Center varieties for the northern and central regions of Kazakhstan, intensification of technologies for the cultivation of agricultural crops with elements of precision farming.
