Akim of the region highly appreciated the results of the work of the scientific staff of the Center and noted that the choice of the meeting venue was not accidental. The Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev is a leading scientific institution in the field of agriculture in Kazakhstan, demonstrating modern precision farming technologies and the development of new varieties of crops able of adapting to changing climatic conditions. This is a unique place where scientific achievements and traditions of agricultural science are combined, while maintaining the continuity of generations.
The interest of the participants was aroused by the speech of the Chairman of the Board of the Center, Timur Savin, who presented new varieties of agricultural crops successfully used in the farms of the region. The scientists of the Center also shared advanced agricultural technologies that helped farmers to get a high harvest this year. It was also noted that cooperation with farmers in the region will continue to develop actively within the framework of the program for the dissemination of agricultural knowledge, and the latest developments of the Center will play a key part in achieving future success.
The remarkable atmosphere of the event was given by the presence of the hero of agriculture — Kadralin Yesilbay Talkeevich, Hero of Socialist Labor and former foreman of the tractor-field brigade of the state farm «50 years of Komsomol» of the Kokshetau region. In 1980, he was awarded a high award together with academician and the first director of the Institute, Alexander Ivanovich Barayev. This significant fact once again underlines how valuable the work of scientists and grain growers was and remains, the importance of which is increasing today.
The current successes in the region’s agriculture show that the traditions of the past years continue. Modern workers, such as the head of «Rodina» LLP, Ivan Sauer, confirm this daily with their work, making a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector in Kazakhstan.
Agricultural meeting has clearly demonstrated that the combination of science, innovation and practical experience opens up new prospects for agriculture in Akmola region and the whole of Kazakhstan.
