Field Day was held at the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev

With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Scientific and Production Centre of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev organised a demonstration site for the Field Day on the topic “Sustainable crop production in drought conditions of Kazakhstan”.

The event gathered agricultural producers of Akmola region, representatives of scientific organisations of agricultural profile, republican and local executive bodies, specialists of domestic and foreign companies-suppliers of agricultural machinery, as well as representatives of state structures and other interested parties. The welcome speech at the Field Day was given by Balpan Murat, Deputy Akim of Akmola region, Sultan Ali, Head of the Department of Agrarian Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the plenary session, Timur Savin, Chairman of the Board of “SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev” LLP, Yerlan Utelbayev, Head of STP on intensive farming, Serik Aitkhozhin, Head of 019 programme on introduction of innovative developments among farmers, Kiryushin Sergey, Managing Director of LIQUIFORCE, international expert of projects on agrotechnologies and mineral nutrition optimisation. In the official part of the event Balpan M.S. awarded letters of thanks and valuable gifts to representatives of agribusiness, who fruitfully co-operate with SPC GF, thus contributing to close cooperation between science and practice.





This large-scale event became a unique platform for demonstrating achievements in the field of agriculture, scientific developments and innovative agricultural technologies. During the field tour of the event, leading scientists and practitioners of the Centre presented new varieties of proven domestic grain crops, modern varieties of oilseeds, legumes, cereals and fodder crops. At the field plots the participants were shown the results of long-term research on the adaptation of crop cultivation technologies to changing climatic conditions. In addition, actual solutions in the sphere of modern agricultural machinery and agro-technologies were offered at the specialised exhibition. This large-scale event promoted the unity of all interested people in discussing new agribusiness projects, ideas and just live communication based on learning important practices and establishing business partnerships.






Despite new challenges and innovation and technological requirements, the scientific and production potential of the Centre continues to grow.

Here the continuity of generations is preserved, a young generation of scientists is growing up, who, relying on the huge heritage of outstanding coryphets of science and the preserved academic foundations, bring novelty and creative ideas. The soil and destiny breathe here.
