On January 5, 2026, by the decision of the Board of Directors of the “National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center” NJSC, Kalibaev Bauyrzhan Bakitzhanovich was elected as the Chairman of the Board of the “Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev”. He previously held the position of Chairman of the Board of the “Kokshetau Experimental Production Farming” LLP. He holds a PhD degree and graduated from the “Kazakh National Agrarian University” with a specialization in agronomy, agrochemistry, and plant protection.
From 2004 to 2010, he worked as a research associate at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing and as the chief agronomist at the Kaskelen Experimental Farm.
From 2011 to 2015, he served as a state inspector for plant quarantine in the Karasai District of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2015 to 2021, he held various positions at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing.
From 2021 to 2022, he worked as a manager in the Department of Science and Intellectual Property at the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center.
In 2022, he became the Deputy Chairman of the Board for the Implementation of Innovative Technologies at “Agropark Ontustik” LLP.
From 2022 to 2023, he worked as the Deputy Chairman of the Board at the “Center for the Transfer and Commercialization of Agrotechnologies” LLP.
In 2023, he worked as the Deputy Director for Science at “Zaporozhye-Agro” LLP, part of the “Nurai-N” Grain Company.
In 2024, he worked as the Chairman of the Board of “Kokshetau Experimental Production Farming” LLP.
Scientific Achievements: Author of the winter barley variety “Aydın” and the sainfoin variety “Balgul”. Participant and leader of international and national scientific projects. Author of more than 20 scientific publications in domestic and foreign high-ranking journals.
