Not only agricultural machinery is being prepared for the new field season at the SPC GF named after A.I.Barayev, but production personnel are also improving their skills. So, at a seminar on the topic: “Spring field work at the precision farming production site” 37 employees of the production department - engineering and technical specialists, machine operators have completed a training course on new modern technologies with elements of precision farming.
At the seminar, Nurlan Amangeldinovich Serekpayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev” LLP, informed the participants of the event about the relevance of the introduction of innovative technologies into production, the relationship between the use of precision farming elements and the efficiency of crop production, while emphasizing that the high yields of high-quality seeds depend on the quality work of each machine operator, their interaction with scientists.
Khurmetbek Oktyabr, Chief scientist agronomist presented a Plan for carrying out spring field work at the precision farming landfill in 2022, Tasbulatov Zhanat Aitbayevich, head of the Department of Plant and Seed Production, spoke on seed production issues. Kulyntai Arman Zhakenuly, Chief Engineer, reported on the readiness of the agricultural machinery park for spring field work.
Skoblikov Vladimir Fedorovich, Head of the Laboratory of Precision Farming made a presentation on the topic: “Scientific and technical foundations of precision farming. Elements of precision farming in the system of spring field work”. During the seminar, Lisenovich Alexander Ivanovich, a researcher at the Precision Farming Laboratory, presented presentations on the following topics to the participants:
- Mapping system, plotting of fields for precision farming purposes (field contours, agrochemical condition)
- The use of navigation devices on agricultural machinery
- Application and economic efficiency of parallel and automated driving systems.
Recommendations on the differentiated use of plant protection products in the precision farming system were presented by Yerlan Amanzholovich Utelbayev, senior researcher at the Plant Protection Laboratory. Yakov Pavlovich Nazdrachev, Senior researcher at the Laboratory of Agrochemistry and Fertilizers, informed about the system of application of mineral fertilizers for cereals, legumes and oilseeds.
Following the results of the seminar, the participants expressed interest in continuing training in practical classes to consolidate the knowledge gained and develop practical skills that will help to carry out the sowing campaign more effectively.
