The propagation of pests and diseases and measures to control them according to the state of crops

On the basis of the Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I.Barayev, an online seminar was held on the Zoom platform on the topic “The propagation of pests and diseases. Pest and disease control measures based on the condition of crops”. The seminar was held within the framework of the implementation of subprogram 100 “Information support of agricultural entities on a gratuitous basis” of the budget program 267 “Increasing the availability of knowledge and scientific research”

At the seminar, presentations were made by: Kochorov Abdumamat Suleymanovich, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Head of the Plant Protection laboratory, on the topic “Infectious diseases of agricultural crops. Harmfulness and the system of protection of grain crops from dangerous diseases”. Nelis Tatiana Borisovna, researcher at the Plant Protection Laboratory, on the issues of “The propagation of pests of agricultural crops in the current year. The harmfulness of insects on agricultural crops and the method of their determination. A comprehensive system for protecting crops from major pests.” Tuleyeva Asia Kuzairovna, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Senior researcher at the Plant Protection Laboratory of the SPC GF named after A.I. Baraev with a presentation on “Plant protection products from pests and diseases. Features of the choice and methods of their application”. The seminar was attended by 29 representatives of economic entities of the Akmola region. During the discussion of the topic of plant protection, the scientists of the Center answered the questions asked about the timeliness of chemical treatments and the correct choice of chemicals.
