Field Day in “Zaporozhye Agro” LLP

On August 13, on the basis of “Zaporozhie Agro” LLP in the Zhaksy district of Akmola region, the “Nurai-N” GC together with the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev held a Field Day on the topic: “Agrotechnical methods of increasing crop production productivity and testing of new varieties of cereals, legumes and oilseeds in the production conditions of the “Nurai-N” GC. Representatives of the Karabalyk AES, the “Eurasia Group” company, managers, specialists of agricultural enterprises and farms of the region took part.

The main purpose of this event was to demonstrate the results of field research and scientific support for the introduction of new varieties and resource-saving technologies of the “SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev” for the cultivation of agricultural crops in the conditions of the Zhaksy district.

At the opening of the Field Day, Maral Uralovich Utebayev, Acting Chairman of the Board of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev, and Tleubayev Bakhytzhan Namenovich, General Director of the “Nurai-N” Grain Company, addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words.

The general condition of the crops was presented by Irmulatov Bakhytzhan Rakhimzhanovich, moderator of the event, acting head of “Zaporozhie Agro” LLP.

Promising varieties of peas and lentils of the “SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev” breeding were presented by Irina Petrovna Oshergina, head of the Department of cereals, legumes, grain fodder and oilseeds breeding. The participants showed particular interest in the cultivation of lentils in the conditions of the Zhaksy district. A wide variety of spring soft wheat varieties was demonstrated by Tatyana Shelayeva, senior researcher at the laboratory of spring soft wheat breeding. Zabolotskikh Vladimir Vladimirovich - Head of the Laboratory of Biological Agriculture “SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev”, presented the results of research to assess the potential of agrotechnical backgrounds of farms of the “Nurai-N” GC, and also explained to farmers the most acceptable conditions for effective tillage, ensuring optimal economic costs and productivity of grain crops.

After viewing the demonstration field, according to the program, the event turned into an advisory format with the participation of production workers and scientists, where they continued to discuss topical issues on the organized conduct of the harvesting campaign. The topic “The growth of plant development and the features of harvesting agricultural crops in the agro-climatic conditions of the “Nurai-N” GC in 2022” was presented by Nogayev Adilbek Aidarkhanovich - Head of the Department of Agriculture of the “SPC GF named after A.I.Barayev”. Kochorov Abdumamat Suleimanovich, Head of the Plant Protection Laboratory of the "SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev", reported on the results of monitoring the phytosanitary condition of agricultural crops of the “Nurai-N” GC in 2022. Vladimir Fedorovich Skoblikov, Head of the Laboratory of Precision Farming at the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev, devoted his speech to the topical issue “Elements of precision farming in the production conditions of the “Nurai-N” GC”.

The event was held with great benefit for agricultural producers, who in practice are convinced of the fruitfulness of cooperation with scientists to improve the efficiency of crop production and crop diversification.
