A.I. Baraev Center presented its breeding achievements at the international agricultural exhibition "KazAgro/KazFarm-2022".

The Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming presented its breeding achievements at the international agricultural exhibition “KazAgro/KazFarm-2022”. Seeds, of the SPC GF named after A. I. Barayev breeding are exhibited at the stand of “NASEC” NJSC. Agricultural producers have shown great interest in the varieties of grain and fodder crops, because the Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev always presents drought-resistant varieties with high productivity and quality potential.

The booth was visited by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the Vice-Minister, Farmers from all regions of Kazakhstan, with intentions to purchase grain seeds, fodder and fodder crops, Farmers also shared their successes in obtaining stable harvests, which allowed obtaining varieties of spring soft wheat “Shortandinskaya 2012”, “Astana 2”. At the booth of the Center, visitors were able not only to get acquainted with the new varieties of cereals, forage, legumes, oilseeds, cereals and fodder crops created by the breeders of the Center in recent years, but also to get advice from scientists on the selection of varieties and the peculiarities of agrotechnics of their cultivation. Agricultural producers intend to use varieties that have already proven their productivity and quality in their production, as well as introduce new ones such as “Taimas”, “Damsinskaya 20-17” into crop rotation.
