Scientists of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev made recommendations on the SFW at the agroforum of the Korgalzhynsky district

On the eve of the upcoming sowing campaign, an agroforum was held in the village of Korgalzhyno, Akmola region, where, in addition to representatives of agricultural enterprises of the district, scientists, representatives of agricultural industry interested companies of the republic and the region took part. The main keynote was the question of the specifics of the spring field work in 2023. During the meeting, Korgalzhyn farmers expressed their readiness for the upcoming sowing season in terms of material, technical and human resources, but the thematic speeches of speakers from among agricultural scientists and heads of agricultural companies were received with due attention.
The practical recommendations for the current sowing campaign were outlined in his speech by Kiyas Aldabergen Aldongarovich, Acting Head of the Agriculture Department of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev. In particular, the scientists noted that this year’s spring field work will take place in difficult natural and climatic conditions. Each agricultural year has its own weather features, and therefore, all elements of agricultural technology need to adapt to the prevailing conditions. Also, farmers were advised to plan spring field work this year taking into account the following features: insignificant replenishment of soil reserves by precipitation of the autumn season, lack of precipitation of the autumn-winter period and significant freezing of the soil profile, gradual snowfall with repeated periods of freezing and thawing of moisture, high probability of summer drought.
The heads of agricultural formations of the Korgalzhynsky district do not interrupt close fruitful cooperation with scientists of the Center of Grain Farming, who accompany their production experiments in the fields of this region and almost all recommended breeding varieties of SPC GF annually yield good harvests with due observance of agrotechnical measures.
During the agroforum, taking into account all the risks and challenges in the agricultural sector, a thorough conversation of all interested parties took place, which will be continued in the field.
