The capital's schoolchildren visited the Center of grain farming

  Today, students of the «Ascend» primary school in Astana visited the Grain Farming Center named after A.I. Barayev with an excursion. The staff of the Center told the history of the formation and development of the Center, demonstrated agricultural crops, equipment and, of course, exhibits and archival documents of the past era in the museum, told the students in more detail about the role of agricultural scientists under the leadership of academician, the first director of A.I. Barayev Institute in the formation of grain production in our republic. At the exhibition of breeding achievements, children were able to see various varieties of agricultural crops, learn how new varieties are created and what are the features of the work of scientists in agricultural science.  The management and teachers of the capital’s school expressed gratitude for organizing an informative excursion about the activities of a large Center of grain farming and wished for closer cooperation of schoolchildren with scientists on agriculture and crop production in the future.
