Almost 80% of wheat on elevators of Kazakhstan are assigned to the 3rd class

5 million 677 thousand 155.3 tons of grain of all types were poured into the grain-receiving enterprises of Kazakhstan by November 6.
The maximum contribution to long-term reserves belongs to the Akmola region - 2 million 717 thousand 364 tons. In North Kazakhstan region, 1 million 261 thousand 146 tons were filled, in Kostanay region - 1 million 172 thousand 959 tons.
Of the total grain volume, the soft wheat amounted to 4 million 315 thousand 163.6 tons. Most of it is of grade 3 quality - 79.9%. (In 2019, this share was 52%).
Also, a small part of soft wheat is classified as class 2 - 1.3%.
Wheat of lower quality is a little - 11.7% of the reserves are attributed to the 4th class, and 4.4% - to the 5th class. Out-of-class grain 2.8%.
In addition to soft wheat, 200 thousand 484.0 tons of durum wheat, 803 thousand 331 tons of barley, 35 thousand tons of rice, 323 thousand 176.7 tons of other grain crops were also filled into elevators in Kazakhstan.
