Kazakhstan plans to build a laboratory for thermal processing of grain

The Kazakh Institute of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan is negotiating with the Swedish agro-industrial company ThermoSeed on the joint construction of a laboratory for thermal processing and cleaning of grain. This is reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
According to preliminary information, the plant can be built on the territories of Akmola or Kostanay regions.
In addition, the akimats of Almaty and Shymkent are negotiating with the Swedish waste recycling company Rolunda Produkter on the construction of a waste recycling plant in Kazakhstan for the production of fertilizers and biogas.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sweden, in June of this year, a Kazakh businessman presented Swedish agricultural technologies. In particular, Energeco Group presented a process for the production of organic fertilizers based on a compost system from garbage, including animal and poultry waste. And ThermoSeed demonstrated every step of the seedbed cleaning process.
Also, Kazakhstan opens new export supplies to Sweden. In August of this year, Arba Wine delivered the first batch of wine (4,500 bottles) for distribution in local restaurants and retailers through the Swedish alcohol monopoly Systembolaget.
Note that in early December, KAZAKH INVEST held an investment meeting of business circles "Kazakhstan - Northern Europe", which was attended by more than 200 companies from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway, including ThermoSeed Global AB.
According to Deputy Foreign Minister Almas Aidarov, despite the negative impact of the pandemic, Kazakhstan continues to search for new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
“Our countries have enormous potential for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in such important sectors as the cultivation and processing of fish and wheat, renewable energy sources, and digitalization. We provide direct and open dialogue between the government and investors, as well as continuous improvement of infrastructure to attract new investments, advanced technologies and know-how, ”said Almas Aidarov.
