Researchers of the plant protection laboratory of the A.I.Barayev Cherny A.A., Davydova V.N., Nelis T.B, monitored the crops of spring softwheat in production fields of the Center.
The phytosanitary state of wheat crops was assessed for the presence and degree of damage by the striped flea beetle and other pests. The result of the survey showed the absence of insects due to the use of an insecticidal seed dressing against pests of cereals.
