Following the modern farming trends

In 2021, the Department of Agriculture of the A.I. Barayev SPCGF has begun the research work in a specialized scientific direction - "Organic agriculture" (program-targeted financing of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023) under the leadership of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member of AAS RK Bastaubayeva Sh.O. Within the framework of the general target program "Development of technologies for conducting organic agriculture for growing crops, taking into account the specifics of regions, digitalization and export" BR10764907, the scientists of the Center were tasked with developing organic farming technologies based on the principles of resource conservation, digitalization and the use of biological products to restore natural fertility of chernozem soils. The purpose of the research planned for 2021-2023 is to study, develop and introduce technologies for organic production of grain and oilseeds based on the principles of resource conservation, digitalization and the use of biological products to restore the natural fertility of chernozem soils in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the carried out work in 2021, a demonstration site for organic farming was organized, where several laboratories of the center are simultaneously conducting research. In stationary multifactorial field experiments, soil cultivation technologies, elements of agricultural technology, plant protection and fertilization systems are studied in relation to the conditions of organic production. The most effective practices will undergo production testing on the basis of model farms in the region.
