SFW: moisture closure

  It is already the fourth day of spring field work in the Center of grain farming named after A.I. Barayev. All services involved in this important period are working in the working mode. Scientific workers of laboratories according to their planned schedules start field studies.

  The press service addressed to the Chief Scientist Agronomist of the Center Tashenov Maksut Zhalelovich in order to learn about the upcoming plans for an organized sowing campaign. At the moment the works on closing the moisture in the production fields, which is one of the important initial stages in the SFW have been started. Today the laboratories of perennial grasses, leguminous and oilseed crops breeding and agrotechnics of field crops on their field plots have completed this work. The background for this work is sufficient, work has been started today on grain and black fallow and is being started on stubble.

  Weeds are already growing in some fields. Therefore, we will immediately begin work on pre-sowing chemical treatment. The workers of the grain flow prepare the seeds of perennial grasses. Sowing of perennial crops in the first decade of May is planned, as well as early crops are planned in field areas by scientists of the laboratory of agricultural technology of field crops and crop diversification.

  According to the calculations of the staff of the Department of agriculture, the moisture reserve ranges from 80 to 100 mm, which reaches an average annual level.

  As a result of the current overabundance of moisture, areas with water erosion have formed in the fields, which means that work on leveling the soil has to be carried out in places.In short , all work is carried out on schedule .It remains to wish all farmers good clear weather and sufficient moisture in order to carry out all sowing operations in a timely manner and eventually get a decent harvest.
