In the middle of July, at the experimental station of the laboratory of agricultural technology of field crops and diversification of plant growing on the variant with a sowing date of May 15, the phase of full earing have begun. During this period, at this time of sowing, the breeding of spring soft wheat plants was carried out for biometric observations: the weight and growth of plants. Determination of productive moisture reserves in a meter layer of soil is also an important indicator in the earing phase for research work. Laboratory workers are taking soil samples to determine moisture.
In addition to taking samples of plants and soil, measurements of soil density were carried out on the registration plots of the laboratory on the options for cultivating wheat on fallow and stubble predecessors. The measurements were carried out at a depth of 10, 20 and 30 cm using a special device - a penetrometer.
