INFORMATION LETTER
Dear colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Agricultural Science: Innovative Solutions in Agriculture, Plant Growing, and Breeding,” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the SPC of Grain Farming named A.I. Barayev (All-Union, then Kazakh Scientific Research Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev).
The conference will be held on July 31, 2026, at the “Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev” LLP.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists, agronomists, breeders, and industry experts to share the latest scientific findings, practical technologies, and strategies for improving the resilience of agroecosystems to abiotic and biotic factors.
The conference will focus on the following issues:
Intensive agriculture |
Sustainable land use, along with preserving and restoring soil fertility. A discussion of fertilization systems, crop rotation strategies, and minimum tillage practices aimed at achieving long-term, stable yield growth. |
Diversification of crop production |
Mixed and rotational cropping models as a pathway to sustainable and profitable production; the economic and agroecological benefits of diversification. |
The conference welcomes participation from scientists, specialists from research institutions, representatives of universities, industry professionals, government officials, as well as young researchers and doctoral students.
A collection of participants’ reports, articles, and communications is planned for release at the start of the conference. All publications will be assigned a DOI, and the proceedings collection will receive an ISBN. The electronic version of the collection will be freely available for download on the Center’s official website. Publication of conference materials is offered free of charge.
The working languages of the conference are Kazakh, English, and Russian.

Please submit your materials and participation applications (using Appendices 1 and 2) to the email address nauka-baraeva@mail.ru by May 1, 2026. Submissions received after this date may be rejected or included in a separate volume.
Submission and formatting requirements for articles:
References and verification The bibliography should be placed at the end of the text, in the order of citation. In-text references must be enclosed in square brackets. To ensure copyright compliance and quality, all materials will undergo plagiarism checks. Articles must have a minimum originality of 65%. Please submit texts in their final, edited form, fully adhering to all the requirements listed above. |

Article requirements Articles must not have been previously published. No more than one article per author. A scientific advisor may co-author no more than two works of students, master’s, or doctoral candidates. |
