The Scientific-Production Center of the Grain Farming named after A. Barayev concluded a number of agreements

During the visit of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the USA, agreements were signed between SPCGF named after A. Barayev with the well-known American company Valmont in the field of irrigation.

The purpose of the agreement with Valmont Industries is the creation of an irrigated landfill (smart landfill) within the framework of the State program for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021.

The project is aimed at demonstrating new innovative agrotechnologies for the cultivation of crops and irrigation systems, as well as monitoring and control technologies based on the SPC. The project will involve experts and managers of Kazakhstani agricultural enterprises, teachers from educational institutions of the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan to transfer knowledge, conduct applied research and their practical application.

The company will supply three new generation sprinklers for the science center. The new unit will increase productivity and save water resources. The volume of investments will be about 200 million tenge.

Also LLP "Research and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I.Baraev and the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute at the University of Nebraska signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation.
