A. Mamin, arrived on a working visit to the Akmola region

On August 5, 2019, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Mamin, arrived on a working visit to the Akmola region.
During the visit, A. Mamin visited the agricultural complex of “Zhuravlevka-1” LLP, got acquainted with the prospects of the agricultural industry of Akmola region and preparations for the harvesting campaign.
The delegation included Minister of Agriculture S. Omarov, Minister of Trade and Integration B. Sultanov, akim of the Akmola region E. Marzhikpayev.
K. Abdullayev, General Director of SPCGF named after A.Barayev took part in a meeting with the Prime-Minister and spoke about the sorts of grain crops developed by the institute and the ongoing work in this direction.
Also, K. Abdullaev met with representatives of the agricultural industry of Akmola region and the Director of the Center for Global Change and Earth Observation, Professor Jiaguo Qi, and discussed the development of the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan.
Members of the delegation visited the exhibition, which presented samples of agricultural equipment of domestic and foreign production.
“Zhuravlevka 1” LLP is engaged in the cultivation of crops, raising cattle and horses. The total land area is 95.099 ha, including arable land - 74.404 ha, pasture-20695 ha.
