А meeting with representatives of the “Baumgartner Agricultural Science and Service” LLP

On August 27, 2019, a meeting with representatives of the American company “Baumgartner Agricultural Science and Service” LLP was held at the A.I. Barayev SPCGF. Under current contract No. 1/2019, the FAO 200 maize seed was sown in spring. 

Test sowing was carried out on June 5. Uniform seedlings were received within 10 days. In the experiment, 15 hybrids were studied in duplicate provided by “Baumgartner Agricultural Science and Service”. A field assessment was made of the germination of hybrids, which amounted to 90-98%, as well as a study of the growing season of maize hybrids. The height of the hybrids plants reaches 150-170 cm. At present, the formation of ears on the hybrids is underway.

Foreign colleagues inspected the crops of maize hybrids and were satisfied with the work also was discussed the possibilities for further cooperation.
