Employees of the microbiology group at Scientific-production center for grain farming named after A.I. Barayev have selected soil samples from the soil profile layers in the fields of the SPCGF for microbiological research.
In the laboratory, subject to aseptic conditions, soil samples are crushed and sieved. A 10 g soil sample was taken from each sample and transferred to flasks with sterile water for microbiological analysis to isolate various physiological groups of soil microorganisms by the method of limiting dilutions.

The soil suspension is prepared for microbiological culture by shaking flasks on an orbital shaker Biosan OS-20 at 120 rpm.

At the same time, soil is taken into the boxes to determine soil moisture in a weighted manner.
