Scientists of SPCGF discussed prospects of cooperation with Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Scientists of A.I.Barayev Scientific-production center for grain farming (SPCGF) met with representatives of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Cereals (PRC). During the meeting, Deputy General Director of SPCGF, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Bakhyt Irmulatov informed about the activities of the Center. Scientists of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences expressed interest in the scientific approach of the Center in the field of grain selection, in particular in varieties of durum and soft wheat, as well as technologies of irrigation of crops, precision farming and use of modern agricultural technology.

Guests were shown a laboratory for assessment the technological qualities of grain and demonstrated the process of determining the quality content of gluten in grain crops. The Chinese experts, noting the high quality of Kazakh wheat varieties, offered to exchange the experience of scientists of the SPCGF and the gene pool of the Center.
