Expert opinion: interview with geneticist Shavrukov Yu.N.

One of the main objectives outlined for the near future in the Development Program of “SPC GF named after A.I.Barayev” LLP is the formation of an innovative infrastructure for digitalization of research and production processes and improving the quality of scientific results and expanding the partnership environment with domestic and foreign organizations.

Our interlocutor is Yuri Nikolaevich Shavrukov, a scientist in the field of genetics and biotechnology, widely known in the world scientific communities. For the last decades he has been working at Flinders University, a university in Adelaide, South Australia. While on a scientific trip to Kazakhstan, Y.N. Shavrukov visited our Center in order to provide his scientific partners with scientific, methodological and practical advice on expanding the range of scientific research on breeding using modern methods of biotechnology, molecular biology and genetics.
