At the beginning of July this year, work began on the completion of the construction of a 60–apartment residential building on Merey St., Nauchnyi settlement, Shortandinsky district of Akmola region; contractors are the construction company “Altair –PK 7”.
Unfinished since the Soviet Union, the 5-storey house was empty in the center of the settlement and spoiled the architectural appearance of the village. To great joy, today there is a lively atmosphere at the construction site, fencing has been installed, workers have cleared the territory of construction debris, are strengthening structures and installation and finishing works are underway. The customer of the reconstruction of the residential complex is “Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after Saken Seifullin” NJSC. It is planned that after the completion of construction, students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of the metropolitan Agrotechnical University will be settled there, arriving at the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev for scientific and industrial practice, and part of the housing will be provided in the form of office housing for the staff of the scientific Center. It is planned to install small architectural forms, a children’s and sports playground and a parking lot, tree and shrub landscaping of the territory near the residential building.
In accordance with the work schedule, the facility will be put into operation by the end of this year.
Yesterday, the Chairman of the Board of “KATU named after S.Seifullin” NJSC Aituganov Kairat Kaparovich visited the facility on a working visit to monitor the progress of the ongoing installation and finishing works and the installation of a gas-holder heating system.
