As part of the integration of science, education and production, S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University began to work to improve social conditions on the basis of subsidiaries for professional, research practices for students, undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as teaching internships and joint scientific research.
One of the important activities was the creation of a student campus of block-modular structures, equipped with classrooms, food and accommodation points near the field crew, located not far from field hospitals.
Currently, construction and repair work and landscaping are underway. One of the mass events for the improvement of the campus territories, organized by the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Strategic Development and International Relations Nysanbayev Yerlan Nurgalievich, Dean of the Faculty of Sarsekova Dani Nurgisayevna with the participation of teachers and students of the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and the Environment was the creation of an alley of 60 young pines, transferred to S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University from their nursery. During the planting, KATU representatives shared their experience in the field of landscaping. E. Nysanbayev has vast experience in production, for many years he headed the JSC "Astana-Zelenstroy", which was engaged in the "green belt" of the capital and other projects for greening the city. “Seedlings are usually replanted in the fall or spring - this is the most favorable time for planting. During this period, the growing season ends, that is, all vital activity is slowed down, respectively, the plant perceives the transplant less painfully" - Nysanbaev E.N. shared his experience. All the participants expressed with satisfaction warm wishes to the staff of SPCGF named after A.I.Barayev on the improvement and landscaping of the campus, as well as their willingness to come and see how a beautiful grove will grow from young trees in the future.
It should be noted that in 2022 it is planned to open a campus, which will expand the capabilities of the A.I.Barayev SPCGF and S.Seifullin KATU in terms of providing housing for students, undergraduates, teachers during professional practice scientific research.
