SPCGF scientists took part at the IOFS training

On June 24 - 25, 2021, training on “Prospects of improvement of wheat in OIC: Asian Group II” organized by Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), NAO "National Agrarian scientific-educational center (NASEC), A.I. Barayev “Scientific-production center for grain farming”.
The training was held in an online format, where members of the Islamic Organization for Food Security addressed the speech and exchanged opinions.
SPCGF scientists took part in the training, Sandukash Babkenova, head of the laboratory of plant immunity to diseases, Maral Utebayev, head of the laboratory of biochemistry and technological assessment of the quality of agricultural crops, and Elzhas Kairzhanov, head of the laboratory for selection of spring soft wheat. A.I. Barayev SPCGF has a partnership with the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) and acts as a Regional Center of Excellence, as well as promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
