Scientists of the A.I. Barayev SPCGF held a seminar for farmers in the Ereymentau region

In the Ereymentau district, under the chairmanship of the deputy akim of the district Ibrayev Battal Nurmukhanbetovich, a seminar-meeting was held with the participation of SPCGF’s scientific workers Lisenovich Alexander, Kiyas Adalbergen, Nazarova Perizat, Nelis Tatiana. Scientists presented to farmers the results of scientific and practical research on precision farming, stage-by-stage introduction of elements of precision farming in the production of crop products. In the course of the seminar-meeting, attention was paid to the issue of using fruit-rotation crop rotations to preserve soil fertility, this is especially important for farmers of the Ereymentau region, since in most farms soils have a low bonitet score, which affects the yield of grain crops. Also werediscussed the issues of plant protection, the use of mineral fertilizers based on the results of agrochemical survey of fields.
During the meeting, the participants also touched upon issues of fodder production: growing fodder in crops of perennial and annual grasses, grain-herbal mixtures, cultivation of leguminous crops. The farmers of the district thanked for the useful and informative meeting with the researchers of the A.I.Barayev SPCGF, and expressed their wish for further cooperation and scientific support of crop production in farms.
