KATRU and SPC GF implement dual training

Starting from the new 2023-2024 academic year, KATRU named after S. Seifullin will implement a dual education program for 3–4-year students on the basis of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev. According to the agreement on the organization and implementation of dual education between the parties, the ultimate goal is the qualitative mastering by students of the basic programs of professional training according to the educational programs: 6B08101 Agronomy, 6B08104 Phytosanitary safety, 6B08103 Soil science and agrochemistry, 6B087 Agroengineering, as well as their acquisition of practical skills of work in the field of future professional activity in the educational organization and on the basis of this enterprise.

Therefore, the University and the Center see the main task in ensuring the implementation of dual training programs, which consists in obtaining education by students in full in accordance with the state mandatory standards of higher professional and postgraduate education, curricula and dual training programs, as well as compliance by students with the company's Charter, internal labor regulations, labor protection requirements, life safety and fire safety and other local acts operating in it, it is extremely important that they comply with the requirements for the use of the company's property. The parties strictly pay attention to the regulation of all points of the joint agreement.

At the end of training, the university teachers together with scientists and industrialists of the Center plan to carry out the procedure of assessment of general and professional competences by specialties in accordance with the state obligatory standards and working programs of academic disciplines and professional modules of students, mastered by them in the process of dual training.

After all, the combination of theoretical and practical components is the basis of dual education. Students not only attend lectures and take exams at the educational institution, but also take part in the work process in the assigned organization. This will allow the graduate to easily cope with production tasks upon leaving the university. Thus, it is an excellent chance for future specialists to get the necessary experience in the profession, and for employers - an opportunity to select personnel from among students.
