Compared to the broad-billed wheatgrass, the blue grass has a significant positive indicator for production - in the spring it grows 2-3 days later, therefore, the earing phase (mowing ripeness) is 5-10 days later than the grain and 5-7 days later than the rootless wheatgrass. Responsive to hydration, maintains high productivity for 5-7 years.

The main leaf mass is concentrated in the lower and middle tiers. Oblivion is an average of 49.5% of the total weight. The new variety has high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, is resistant to diseases and pests. The yield of green mass is 69.5 c / ha, which is 23% higher than the Omich standard. The crude protein content in the dry weight of the blue-gray Breeze wheatgrass averaged 10.8%; crude fiber - 29.7%, the yield of feed units - 0.63 kg / kg.

Variety Breeze is promising for cultivation in Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kostanai, Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan regions.
