Grain harvesting is a complex and responsible process consisting of several stages, different for different types of crops. At each stage, it is necessary to choose the most appropriate scheme of actions, which depends on the characteristics of crop formation, weather conditions.

In conditions of unstable weather conditions, the choice of cleaning method will have a decisive role. The objective is not only to fully harvest grain without losses, but also high-quality grain. The yield and quality of wheat grain, the main commercial crop of the zone, will be affected by weather conditions both during ripening and during harvesting. Heavy rains, as well as strong winds, which can lead to lodging of wheat, can greatly complicate the harvesting process. However, using available technologies, it is possible to collect all grain from the fields without losses and with high quality, regardless of environmental conditions.
