The Scientific and Production Center named after A.I. Barayev together with BASF Central Asia conducted tests on such crops as spring wheat, barley and lentils this year.

Excellent results were obtained when using the Sistiva fungicide in a tank mixture with the Inshur Perform seed protectant on the Shortandinskaya 2012 spring wheat variety and Astana 2000 barley.Fungicides based on new active substances such as Ceriax Plus provided powerful protection for cereals throughout the growing season.

I would like to mention the highly productive spring wheat variety Shortandinskaya 2012, which has been gaining momentum more and more recently. This medium-early variety gives high yields and excellent quality in comparison with medium-ripened and medium-early varieties.

A high yield index was also noted on lentils, on the variant using the fungicide Priaxor.Lentils are one of the crops that must be protected in advance from diseases such as ascochitosis, anthracnose ... etc. The BASF’s high-tech fungicides perfectly cope with this task.
