4 projects of young scientists of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev were approved

To participate in the competition for internal grant financing of research works of young scientists of “KATU named after S. Seifullin” NJSC, “Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev” LLP and “Kazakh Research Institute of Forestry and Agroforestry named after A.N. Bukeikhan” LLP on priority the direction “Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and the safety of agricultural products” received 10 applications.
Based on the results of the review, 4 projects of our young scientists were approved for funding:
1) “The use of remote sensing – vegetation indexes – to increase the efficiency of the breeding process in the comparative study of the potential of cultivars of agricultural crops on the example of lentils” (project manager - Zhanzakov B.Zh.);
2) “Creation of cereal-legume grass mixtures using phytocenotic breeding for the sustainable development of feed production in Northern Kazakhstan” (project manager - Ostrovsky V.A.);
3) “To develop a technology for creating highly productive pasture raw materials for the preparation of granular feed for cattle” (project manager - A.I. Kurbanbayev);
4) “Assessment of amino acid content and technological indicators of grain quality of varieties and promising lines of spring soft wheat in the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan” (project manager - D.M. Jazina).
