A round table was organized with the support of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the assembly hall of the Mining and Metallurgical building of the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev on the topic «Science problems identification in Kazakhstan and ways to solve them» with the participation of young scientists in Almaty, on May 25, 2023. The round table in offline and online modes was attended by about 170 participants from various domestic and foreign scientific communities. SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev was represented by a researcher at the Precision Farming Laboratory, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists, Zhanzakov Bakhtiar.
Within the framework of the event, a number of topical issues of science in the world and the country were raised. Such problems as the status of the Kazakh language in science, shortcomings in the project documentation of grants, an insufficient number of sites for conducting experimental and technical tests, a weak level of knowledge of English in the academic environment, incentives and measures for social support of scientists and many other problems have not been ignored. The speakers were Zakaria Kunsulu Daltonkyzy, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aybuldin Elaman Kanatuly, Chairman of the Board of «Orleu biliktilikti arttyru ultyk ortalyktyk», Beishova Indira Saitanovna, Director of the testing center of the National Academy of Sciences «West Kazakhstan Agrotechnical University named after Zhangir Khan» NJSC and other interested persons, they gave explanations on the solution of all these priority tasks and voiced many innovative tasks and resource opportunities to accelerate the development of domestic science, taking into account modern trends.
