Recommendations oo scientists on conducting spring field work was brought to farmers

The success of the development of the agro-industrial complex is impossible without cooperation with science. This axiom acquires its own special meaning when, in a recent statement, President K. Tokayev is extremely concerned about the critical importance of each day of spring field work, because in the current difficult economic situation, the priority of food security is more than ever obvious.

This year with heavy rainfall it has its own peculiarities, therefore, for agricultural producers, scientists of the A. Barayev scientific-production center for grain farming prepared new recommendations on conducting spring field work in farms of the Akmola region in 2020, where they pay special attention to the diversification of crop production and the application of various agricultural cultivation technologies crops subject to weather conditions.

These recommendations show the features of the temperature regime, distribution of precipitation in the period 2019-2020 of the agricultural year, recommended varieties of crops, plant nutrition issues, the state of the infectious background on the diseases, pests and weeds. Traditionally, measures have been proposed to protect the soil from erosion, agricultural conservation techniques and effective conservation techniques and the good use of soil moisture as well as atmospheric precipitation moisture, and also the agricultural machinery for sowing cereals, legumes, oilseeds and fodder crops have not been left out of sight.

Also, the Center’s management, together with the local executive bodies of the region, carried out work in order to take into account the current difficult situation due to the coronavirus pandemic and the impossibility of holding planned agricultural meetings on the websites of regional and department akimats, so that agricultural producers could get to know them in a timely manner and consider in their work.
