Today, Senator of the Parliament of the RK, Secretary ofthe Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management and Development of Rural Areas A. Kurishbaev paid a working visit to A.I.Barayev SPCGF Kurishbaev Akhylbek Kazhigulovich.
Scientists demonstrated scientific achievements and highlighted the existing problem points related to the current weather and climatic conditions. The meeting took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
From 1997 to 2002, Akhylbek Kazhigulovich headed the then Kazakh Scientific Research Institute for Grain Farming named after A.I.Barayev. In those difficult years for the republic, scientists under his leadership continued to conduct scientific research and make plans for the development of agricultural science. And his connection with the scientists of the institute is not interrupted. Today the senator rejoiced at the ongoing changes in the Center, his idea of"laboratory-science-production" is being implemented in practice. SPCGF in close cooperation with the .SeifullinKazakh Agrotechnical University, the sole founder, are developing plans for the unification of scientific developments for the breeding of new promising varieties of cereals, legumes, grain fodder, oilseeds and forage crops and for the in-depth introduction of precision farming. The status of one of the largest centers of grain farming, known in the world scientific community, today allows us to expand the boundaries of cooperation.
Therefore, during the trip, Akhylbek Kazhigulovich expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing changes in the Center and in the village of Nauchny itself. This year, roads are being overhauled here, street lighting is being carried out, there planned worked for gasification and the construction of a multi-storey 60-apartment building in 2022 and a student campus.
Kurishbaev A.K. having gone through all the stages of a scientific career, working in the central executive power as the Minister of Agriculture and in the field of science as the head of one of the most authoritative agricultural universities in the country and now he is one of the recognized people's representatives, who knows firsthand the real problems of the agricultural industry, including agrarian science and today from a high rostrum offering their specific solutions.
