Scientists of the A.I.Barayev SPCGF carry out phytosanitary monitoring of spring soft wheat crops in “Novokubanskoye” LLP

For more than six decades, close cooperation has continued between the scientists of the A.I.Barayev Scietific-Production Center for Grain Farming and the management team of “Novokubanskoye” LLP, one of the largest agricultural formations in Akmola region, which allows them to get consistently good grain harvests.                          
In accordance with the recommendations of the scientists of the SPCGF, researchers Mukhanov N.K., Bazarbayev B.B. under the leadership of the head of the department of agriculture Nogayev A.A. and with the participation of the chief agronomist of the farm Tsiunel N.V. phytosanitary monitoring of spring soft wheat crops is carried out on the basis of an agreement on scientific support for the purpose of practical study of the application of various seeding rates and mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of this crop in the future. On the production fields of the farm, the degree of weediness, the limits of economic harmfulness are determined. In the course of phytosanitary monitoring, samples of spring soft wheat are taken using an entomological net for analysis in the laboratories of the Center.
