Scientists and farmers discussed the features of SFW

  A seminar on the topic «Special aspects of spring field work in 2024» with the participation of agricultural producers of Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions and also a number of representatives of the agricultural sector of the regions took part in an online videoconference was held at the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev.

  Timur Vladimirovich Savin, Chairman of the Management Board of «SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev» LLP, addressed the participants of the seminar. The moderator of the event, Kanat Ashkeevich Akshalov, head of the laboratory of adaptive and agro-landscape technology, discussed with farmers the specifics of spring field work this year, the need to diversify crops and the main issues of agrotechnics of spring sowing, taking into account the special aspects of weather and climatic conditions in 2023-2024 agricultural years.

  Vladimir Vladimirovich Zabolotskikh, Head of the Laboratory of Biological Agriculture, brought measures for the effective use of soil moisture and atmospheric precipitation to the participants.

  Presentation on the topical subject «Forecast of the phytosanitary condition of crops. The effectiveness of systems for protecting seeds and crops of field crops from harmful organisms» was presented by Kochorov Abdumamat Suleymanovich, head of the Plant Protection laboratory.

  The presentation on the effectiveness of the use of mineral fertilizers for cereals, legumes and oilseeds by Nazdrachev Yakov Pavlovich, head of the Laboratory of Agrochemistry and fertilizers, turned into a lively discussion among the participants of the seminar interested in the intensification of agriculture.

  Filippova Nadezhda Ivanovna, head of the Department of perennial herbs breeding, spoke on the topic «Special aspects of technologies for the cultivation of perennial and annual forage crops», issues of forage crop cultivation concern not only the diversification of crop production, but also the creation of a sustainable feed base for livestock, providing high-quality feed.

  The topic of the seminar is covered in detail in the brochure «Guidelines for conducting spring field work in Akmola region», published by the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev, which was handed over to the participants of the event.
