Work is underway to certify the production of organic products

  Within the framework of the current program BR21882327 “Development of new technologies for organic production and processing of agricultural products”, on July 1 of this year, inspectors of the European Organic Certification Body “Certification and Testing Center” LLC (Latvia, Priekule conducted an inspection (audit) of SPC GF named after A. I. Barayev for the conformity of organic production with the requirements of EU Regulations and internal documents of the certification body.During the inspection, the Center’s documentation was evaluated for compliance with the production of organic products, production facilities were inspected: acreage, storage facilities, agricultural specialized equipment, etc.

  It should be noted that on the part of the SPC GF, an application was previously submitted to “Certification and Testing Center” LLC for certification of organic production with the following annexes: a copy of the order appointing a responsible person to represent the interests of the applicant, a description of the activities of the plant production, a description of storage facilities (granaries, canopies, covered grain storages, etc.), crop rotation scheme and soil fertility improvement plan for the next 5 years.

  Following the results of the work, an Agreement (contract) was concluded between the SPC GF and the above-mentioned certification body for the certification of organic production and a declaration of intent to comply with the requirements of standards in the field of production and turnover of organic products was signed.

The European Certification Body for organic production “Certification and Testing Center” LLC (Latvia, Priekule) is one of the active foreign companies working in Kazakhstan in this field and the only foreign certification body for organic production that is accredited in the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
