The Center’s scientists are visiting rural regions

Before the beginning of spring field works there are only a few days left, in rural areas of Akmola region begin to carry out important preparatory work. Therefore, scientists often visit rural regions in order to conduct targeted information work on sustainable implementation of agro-technological measures for cultivation of crops. So recently the scientists of the Center visited Egindykol district of Akmola region, where at the agricultural meeting issues on organized and quality sowing campaign were discussed with the participation of agricultural producers, representatives of sectoral interested services and government agencies.
Kochorov Abdumamat Suleymanovich, PhD in Agricultural sciences, Head of the Plant Protection Laboratory presented to the participants of the agro-meeting the peculiarities of practical application of scientists’ recommendations on the organization of spring field work in the current agricultural year, taking into account soil and climatic characteristics of Egindykol district. Utelbayev Yerlan Amanzholovich, PhD, senior researcher of the Plant Protection Laboratory explained to local farmers the features of the integrated system of crop protection from weeds and quarantine plants.
