Kopeyev Bantsat Aitkenovich

Kopeyev Bantsat Aitkenovich, scientist-agronomist, candidate of agricultural sciences. B. Kopeyev was born on May 9, 1935 in the village of Sadubek of Atbasar district, Tselinograd region. In 1960, he was a graduate student at the All-Union Scientific research institute for grain farming. In 1963, he worked as a senior researcher in the agricultural department of the All-Union research institute for grain farming. Bantsat Aitkenovich defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of agricultural sciences “Occupied fallow land as predecessors of spring wheat in the Tselinograd region” (Almaty, 1963). In 1963, was head of the weed control laboratory at All-Union research institute for grain farming. In 1964 he worked as the head of the laboratory of agrotechnics of field crops at All-Union research institute for grain farming. B. Kopeyev was awarded the medal “For the Development of virgin lands” and is the author of 60 publications. Bantsat Aitkenovich passed away in 1990.
