Shiyaty Yevgeniy Ivanovich

Shiyatyi Yevgeniy Ivanovich is agronomist scientist, doctor of agricultural sciences. E. Shiyatyi was born on March 25, 1938, in the village of Kupyansk-Uzlovaya at Kupyansky district of Kharkov region. In 1960 he graduated from the Uman Agricultural Institute in the Cherkask region. In 1960-1961 he was an agronomist at a state farm in the Zaporozhskaya region. In 1961-1963 he worked as a researcher at the Pavlodar experimental station for the protection of soils from erosion. Since 1963, Yevgeniy Ivanovich began working at the All-Union Scientific research Institute of for grain farming (now the Scientific-production center for grain farming): as a researcher and head of the department of soil protection complexes.

In 1968 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences "Development of roughness parameters for a wind-resistant surface of southern carbonate chernozems" (Almaty). In 1981 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences "Theoretical and experimental foundations for predicting wind erosion processes in the design of soil protection measures in Northern Kazakhstan" (Moscow).
