Matyushkov Mikhail Ivanovich, candidate of technical sciences, was born on September 13, 1937 in the village of Novo-Markovka, Akmola region.
M. Matyushkov studied at Altai Agricultural Institute in 1958-1963.
In 1963-1964 he worked as an engineer of labor-intensive processes in animal husbandry. In 1964 he began his career at the All-Union research institute of grain farming as a senior engineer in the mechanization department. In 1966 he worked as a senior engineer for the information department. In 1967 he was a leading engineer in the mechanization department. In 1969, he worked as senior researcher at the sowing machine laboratory. From 1978 to 2002, he worked as the head of the sowing machine laboratory. In 1975 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences “Research on the uniformity of the depth of the coulters of stubble seeders and finding ways to stabilize it” (Ufa city).
Under his leadership, a cultivating seeder was developed with centralized seeding of seeds, the seeders for direct sowing, universalsoil-cultivating tools. According to the scientific and technical program No. 0242.
M.Matyushkov has 14 awards, three medals of ENEA of the USSR, an excellence in inventions of the USSR.
He is the author of 25 inventions, of which ten publications and five preliminary patents, more than 60 scientific papers that give a theoretical justification and experimental determination of the working conditions of mobile agricultural units and parameters of working bodies, he developed private methods of experimental and theoretical research on sowing machines.
