Davydov Sergo Efremovich

S. Davydov was born on October 25, 1937, Novogeorgievsk, Stavropol territory. In 1960 he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. In 1965 he studied at the Saratov Agricultural Institute. In 1967 he worked as a research specialist at the All-Union scientific research institute for grain farming. In the period 1967-1970 he was a graduate student of the selection department in All-Union scientific research institute for grain farming. In 1970-1971 he worked as a researcher in the selection department of the AUSRIGF. In 1971 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences “The influence of growing conditions on the development of the signs and properties of spring durum hybrids” (Leningrad). In 1972 he was the head of the laboratory for the selection of durum wheat at AUSRIGF. S.Davydov is the author of 24 publications.
