A.I. Barayev SPCGF, being the leading institution in the republic, engaged in applied research on the development of technologies for the cultivation of cereals, legumes, oilseeds, fodder crops and the creation of new varieties for the northern, central regions, cooperates with Kazakh and foreign research institutes and shares her scientific developments.
SPCGF works closely with the scientists of Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant growing, within the framework of the PTF, scientists intend to cooperate with them on two scientific projects: breeding of leguminous crops and breeding of oilseeds and cereals.
Recently, researchers of the department of legumes, grain fodder, oilseeds and cereals of the A.I. Barayev SPCGF Oshergina Irina and Ten Yevgeny were trained in soybean hybridization methods at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant growing at the invitation of the colleague Svetlana Vladimirovna Didarenko, head of the department of leguminous crops, the author of the patented soybean hybridization method.
The purpose of this seminar was to promote soybeans in the northern regions of the republic, as well as to inform about new varieties of this crop that are resistant to the conditions of the Akmola region.
“We are very pleased to take part in the seminar organized by our colleagues from KazRIAP. The seminar is very interesting and informative. Svetlana Vladimirovna showed us her breeding and production crops. She talked about the varieties that she is the author of. She offered to carry out joint breeding work," said the head of the department of legumes, grain fodder, oilseeds and cereals of the A.I. Barayev SPCGF Oshergina Irina.
