Director General of the IOFS Aryn Berik Sakbayuly visited the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev

  Today, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security Aryn Berik Sakbayuly visited the Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A.I. Barayev in order to familiarize himself with the activities of a large Kazakh Center for grain farming and an informal meeting with scientists in laboratory and field conditions. The delegation also included the Director of the Department of Programs and Projects of the IOFS, Zulfikar Ali, and his staff. Indeed, one of the important missions of the IOFS is to disseminate and provide experience and technical know-how to the OIC Member States on various aspects of effective development of agriculture, food security and biotechnology.

  During the business visit, Aryn B.S. noted with satisfaction that the new promising varieties presented by the scientists-breeders of the SPC GF at the exhibition, which are in high demand on the domestic seed market, and also a vivid picture of field scientific experiments of grain crops clearly indicate a sufficiently high potential of the famous Kazakh Grain Center and its rich history of scientific achievements, known to the world the scientific community deserves a lot of attention. The head of the IOFS also wished the staff of the SPC GF named after A.I. Barayev further success in important activities for the country

  Following the meeting, the IOFS leadership expressed its intention to expand collaboration between the participants of the OIC countries in the specified aspects within the framework of the planned agreements between the parties.
